RAM TRX 2024: One Last Time
With all the tightening environmental regulations and the increasing enthusiasm of buyers for electric vehicles, one can\’t help but wonder how Stellantis continues to offer gasoline-powered vehicles with over 700 horsepower today. Finally, it would be wiser to celebrate the return of the RAM TRX in 2024 than to seek an explanation, as it should be the last year of production for the model.
Indeed, RAM is announcing a final edition for its 2024 TRX. This last wave of models will be manufactured by the end of 2023, after which the production line will be closed. The most ironic aspect of all this is that the end of TRX production is expected to coincide with the start of RAM EV production.
RAM 1500 TRX Final Edition
The ultimate edition of the RAM TRX will feature some unique characteristics, such as satin titanium wheels and unique logos in various places. You\’ll also find graphic elements with the \”6.2L\” designation on the body and inside the cabin. Additionally, there are satin elements inside the cabin of the American manufacturer\’s truck. Of course, the latter comes with a very comprehensive standard equipment package, including a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a head-up display, a digital display mirror, and more.
This new and final version of the RAM 1500 TRX will offer a total of 8 colors, including 3 new shades: Delmonico Red, Night Edge Blue, and Havert Sunrise.
There are no major changes on the mechanical front for this final edition of the 2024 RAM 1500 TRX. The American manufacturer\’s truck retains the same supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Its top speed is nearly 200 km/h (124 mph). However, the RAM 1500 TRX Final Edition is still capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in under 4.5 seconds and completing the quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds. Not to mention its off-road capabilities, which are simply astonishing.
Production of the model will be limited to 4,000 units. Unfortunately, it is not yet known how many units will be destined for Canada. However, it is known that the model will have a starting price of $117,625 before transportation and preparation fees, as well as any options.
